OH wow.. I just saw this post...

REALLY???   SWEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (You are sooolucky!!) I would go insane in a huge place of fabric like that..  If you do happen to find any??  Call me..  I will pm my number - that way -- if they can  drop ship by CC.. I can save you a ton of trouble  and just pay for it and have it  shipped straight here.

Of course.. if ya don't find any.. thats ok too...   All these years I have loved that fabric and should have just bought it when it was available instead of waiting... and then finding out its no longer made.   :-[

Thanks so much!

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm looking for this  fabric.  None of my suppliers have any left, its discontinued.   So.. if any of you have a yard or more  (Lots more is better!) of this under your tables.. I will be happy to buy it from you!!!  Not for a customer.. this is for me.  Thanks for your time. :-)

expecting ME to find customers that are stupid enough to pay TWICE retail.

This is the sort of thing I speak of...  your customers, and mine... are reading this...   Um...  If you're researching someone to do some work for you and read a thread like this...  would you call that guy to  do your work??  I mean... really???

I simply have a different perspective on what should be discussed publicly and pointly that out... thats all.

As for where you can discuss such things..  thats up to you.  I simply exercised my right to  post my opinion here, and offer a tiny bit of advice.  :-)

Sterry --  that little steakhouse ditty has been on my website for years.

Also -- you all might consider that this is a public board .. and discussing such business issues are not wise.  Do you see other businesses discussing their pricing in public?

Ultimately, we all do business in the way that works for us. But there is no need to give your customers the ammunition to shoot you with (OR someone else).

Happy Mommas Day

LOL Chris... I dare say the Missus would prevent you from making such an, um...  "unacceptable  appearance" in public.  Now -- what you all do in private is between the two of you!  8)

Oh I LOVE JoAnn's.!!!     for  everything BUT upholstery.  ;D   And  the coupons too..  generally to purchase quilting and sewing notions.   8)

I love to  walk through the store and  fondle every fabric... losing myself in the  colors and textures... dreaming of the day I can finally sew for ME!  A quilt in these colors...  a   fitted, lined jacket  with a buttoned  belt and  center pleated back  in  this fabulous courduroy --   OH!!   OH!!  this fleece would make *the*  CUTEST winter play set for my granddaughter...

*Sigh*  my happy place....  :)

Yes.. FB is weird at times..   no like button?  hmm..   gee...  I just looked..  I wonder where it went??

Oh well..   I will fix it another time...

BTW -- Whoever it was that suggested  409 for  preventing glue from sticking to the scissors...

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   That stuff works great!  (And it cleaned up 5th wheel grease off the floor too!! :D:D)

Anyone can sew.. anyone can staple fabric..   BUT!

to be  good.. truly GOOD - one must have been blessed  with talent.  God gives all of us  different  gifts and  measures of talents.  I can paint fairly well -- but would NEVER make it as a painter..  I can tell the difference between various parts of an  engine - and have changed out starters and carbs (amazing what you can do if there's no one to help you...)  but I would  NEVER consider myself a mechanic...

the poor dear who made those  is aware that "something" isn't quite right -- but is  either unable to figure it out -- or simply sorry she started it and wanted them  gone.   And I bet she doesn't try it again.

Bless her little ole heart!  ;D
