In order to help people with very old Dürkopp and Adler machinery we at Dürkopp Adler have started to post vintage technical documents for free download here http://sew24.blogspot.com/2011/10/vintage-technical-documents-for-adler.html.
You will find manuals (for example the manual for Adler Class 104 and 105 http://sew24.blogspot.com/2011/10/manual-for-adler-class-104-and-105.html), parts lists and other documents like sewing gauge overviews there which are not available in the regular download section of the Dürkopp Adler Homepage.

From the big number of downloads right from the beginning this seems to be very helpful for many people who are searching for these things since a long time.

Any suggestion what should be published there is highly appreciated in order to help people use and service their machines.

The first post about it was lost due to the virus. I hope this time it will remain.

If you are interested to buy the actual most wanted product in the market, you should check the Dürkopp Adler M-Type series.

While I don't for one minute dispute the fact that Adler makes a really fine product, I would like to see some stats that back up such a bold statement.

I have joined this forum to listen, learn and help, and was only wondering why the M-Type was not discussed here when I posted the comment.
I could tell you a lot of facts, but I think nobody needs them. It is more interesting to see user comments and not Dürkopp Adler management statements. The machine features speak for themselves.

I am more concerned that my approach to help some people with a post in this forum to free vintage manuals and parts list like for Adler class 104 and 105, etc. was erased. I don´t know why and if I should post it again.

Wasn't one of the lost posts the revelation that Thomas_sew24 worked for Adler?

Yes, there is no secret about that, I have posted it in my profile. I work for Dürkopp Adler and have joined the forum because I think it is highly interesting, should be read by upholstery sewing machine manufacturers, and may be a possibility to exchange and share experiences.
I felt invited by the site introduction "We expect many, many more upholsterers, manufacturers, decorators, trade schools, suppliers, and do-it-yourselfers to be regular visitors to our ever changing pages at upholster.com. Join us!"
For those who may not know it: The Juki LU-2210 is mostly a copy of the famous Dürkopp Adler class 767-FA-373. The hook is the same, the thread trimming knives are the same, and even the standard sewing gauge parts from the 767 fit on the Juki 2210. The 767 is copied by various chinese companies, too, like Highlead.
The 767 is no longer produced. The new model from Dürkopp Adler is the M-Type series with classes 867, 868, 869, 888, etc.
The M-Type is a modular concept: Most of the mechanical parts of one model also fit on any other M-Type model.
It has 30% less mechanical parts and 20% more feeding power than the 767 . All cover parts are fixed with only 10 different screws. The machine has 20mm sewing foot lift and 9mm foot stroke of alternating sewing feet.
The under arm clearance is 335 mm, and the underarm height is 125mm.
I think, this is the real industry standard for home and car upholstery and the leading technology.

If you are interested to buy the actual most wanted product in the market, you should check the Dürkopp Adler M-Type series. They are available from low-cost to top-level versions, but all built on the same modular basis
