do a search on craigslist. most owners buy to steam clothes. I found a J4000 on craigslist for 80.00. the owner had used it for steaming clothes. it was practially new.. no calcium or lime buildup. all I had to do was order a upholstery wand kit.

thanks to everyone for the input. my comment about garbage comes from a purchase of webbing pliers. they were made of cheap metal and when I used. they broke in my hand and left a nasty gouge. I have since purchased a pair of cs osbourne.

thank you sofadoc. I guess my main concern is chinese made products. not of high quality. not saying keystone stocks china-made. where are most sewing machine parts manufactured ? are there any produced in US , germany or japan? if the cost is more, no problem. thanks again.

thanks for the input Mojo and Big john. I was looking at the same one on ebay. I wasn't sure if it was garbage, due to some ebay products. also here is a tool i would recommend for auto trimmers. NWS  138-69-200 Fantastico Plus Heavy Duty Lever Side Cutter 200 mm. these cutters will cut thru any hog ring with little effort.bought a pair recently. also comes with comfort grips.
